Aeroitalia is committed to promoting and disseminating a corporate culture based on ethics and transparency. To this end, it has implemented, in light of Legislative Decree 24/2023, an internal reporting channel for violations and irregularities (acts and/or illegal behaviors, whether of commission or omission, that harm the public interest or the integrity of the Company), ensuring whistleblowers the confidentiality of their identity and the information contained in the report, as well as their protection against potential retaliation. Although anonymous reports are accepted, whistleblowers are encouraged to favor named reports to expedite and enhance the effectiveness of investigations.
It should be noted that the report of an offense is not a complaint about the experience of using our services. For such matters, the channels managed by our Customer Care and Legal Department remain active.
It is further specified that:
- pursuant to Art. 1, c. 2, Legislative Decree 24/23, disputes, claims, or requests related to a personal interest of the whistleblower or the person who filed a report to the judicial or accounting authority concerning exclusively their individual employment relationships or those with their hierarchical superiors are not considered violations and cannot therefore be the subject of a report;
- the report cannot concern information already in the public domain;
- the whistleblower must act in good faith, making substantiated reports based on precise and consistent factual elements, and must refrain from making blatantly unfounded or unsubstantiated reports.
Any reports can follow the following procedures:
- written submission of the report (ordinary mail or registered mail with return receipt), bearing the external label "To the attention of the whistleblowing manager - personal confidential" via the postal service;
- oral submission (voice messaging via telephone contact +39.34.23.623.841 or direct meeting at the offices with the Whistleblowing Manager requested via the same number);
- hand delivery in a sealed envelope addressed to the temporary Whistleblowing Manager, with the label "personal confidential" at the address via Andrea Mantegna, 8 00054 Fiumicino (RM).
