DISCOUNT ON THE PRICE OF AIRLINE TICKETS FOR CITIZENS RESIDENT IN SICILY FOR THE REDUCTION OF THE DISADVANTAGES RESULTING FROM INSULARITY

You are booking a discounted fare or a territorial continuity fare for passengers residing in Sicily.

If the journey starts before 1 November 2025, the economic contribution consists of a 25% reduction on the cost of the air ticket, for the benefit of passengers residing in the territory of the Sicilian Region.

Tickets purchased by residents of Sicily, where the economic contribution is applied, are subject to the fare rules indicated in the General Conditions of Carriage, art. 4.2.

If the journey starts from 1 November onwards, only on the routes Comiso - Rome and vv. and Comiso - Milan Linate and vv., the economic contribution consists of the territorial continuity fare, for the benefit of passengers residing in the territory of the Sicilian Region.

Tickets purchased by residents of Sicily, where the territorial continuity fare is applied, are subject to the fare rules indicated in the General Conditions of Carriage, art. 4.2.2.

Passengers must prove their resident status to the airline or travel agency issuing the ticket by means of a self-certification at the time of purchase. At the time of check-in or boarding, passengers residing in Sicily must present their identity card or residence permit for EU citizens. If a passenger travelling on a discounted ticket or with the territorial continuity fare is unable to prove their identity and residence, or if the details do not match the ticket holder, they will not be allowed to travel with such tickets but may purchase a new ticket at the regular fare to travel.

It is not possible to purchase in a single online transaction air tickets for passengers eligible for discounted fares together with passengers who do not meet such requirements.
